JAMMU - KATRA
Warm welcome at Jammu Airport / Railway / Bus station and proceed for Jammu sightseeing (the city of Temples, home to the Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi bestowed with picturesque mountain ranges and soul lifting pilgrimage centres). Afternoon transfer to Katra, at arrival check in hotel.
Day 1KATRA - DARSHAN
Day free for Heli darshan of Mata vaishno devi nestling on the foothills of the mighty Trikuta Mountain.
Day 2KATRA - PATNITOP
Morning after breakfast drive through first hill resort on this circuit known as Kud ( 1738 meters) to Patnitop and transfer to Hotel. Day free for personal activities.
Day 3PATNITOP - PAHALGAM
Morning at Leisure. Afternoon drive to Pahalgam at 7200fts (village of shepherds) enroute visit famous Jawahar Lal Tunnel 2504 mtrs long, Martand Temple ( sun temple). On arrival in Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 4PAHALGAM- LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Late morning visit famous sights from Indian film industry ( bollywood), Baisaran view point, Aru village, Chandanwari by horses or car at self. Pahalgam is also famous for trekking routes and base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the natural beauty and river Lidder by evening.
Day 5PAHALGAM - GULMARG
DaMorning after breakfast leave Pahalgam to Gulmarg by passing Srinagar at 8700 fts know as meadow of flowers, famous for Golf course during summer with 18 holes highest Golf course in the World and ski resort in Winter. At arrival transfer to Hotel. Evening at Leisure.
Day 6GULMARG – SRINAGAR.
Morning after breakfast day to explore Gulmarg, visiting Gondola (cable car). Horse ridding and snow sledge or playing golf at self. Evening drive back to Srinagar, transfer to House-Boat / Hotel.
Day 7
SRINAGAR - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast leave for Shankaracharya Temple / Takht-e-Suleiman about 1000fts from Srinagar for panaromic view of the valley and then visit famous Mughal gardens of Cheshmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise. Late afternoon Shikara tour of the Lake.
Day 8SRINAGAR – SONAMARG – SRINAGAR
After breakfast drive to Sonamarg for full day excursion ( 9000fts ),The Golden Meadow. Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland. Surrounded by mountains upto 5300 mtrs high the valley is divided by a spur of the Thajwas Range. Baltal the base camp for Amarnath Piligrim lies 15 kms north of Sonamarg. This little valley lies at the foot hill of Zojila. At arrival in Sonamarg visit Thajwas Snow Glacier. Evening return back.
Day 8
SRINAGAR-DEPARTURE
Morning after break fast depart to Srinagar Airport / bus station for onward journey.
