JAMMU - KATRA
Warm welcome at Jammu Airport / Railway / Bus station and proceed for Jammu sightseeing (the city of Temples, home to the Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi bestowed with picturesque mountain ranges and soul lifting pilgrimage centres). Afternoon transfer to Katra, at arrival check in hotel.
Day 1KATRA - DARSHAN
Day free for Heli darshan of Mata vaishno devi nestling on the foothills of the mighty Trikuta Mountain.
Day 2KATRA - PAHALGAM
After breakfast drive for two nights tour of Pahalgam 7200fts (village of shepherds) enroute visiting Patnitop and famous Jawahar Tunnel. At arrival Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. Evening free at Leisure.
Day 3PAHALGAM- LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Late morning visit famous sights from Indian film industry ( bollywood), Baisaran view point, Aru village, Chandanwari by horses or car at self. Pahalgam is also famous for trekking routes and base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the natural beauty and river Lidder by evening.
Day 4PAHALGAM - GULMARG
DaMorning after breakfast leave Pahalgam to Gulmarg by passing Srinagar at 8700 fts know as meadow of flowers, famous for Golf course during summer with 18 holes highest Golf course in the World and ski resort in Winter. At arrival transfer to Hotel. Evening at Leisure.
Day 5GULMARG – SRINAGAR.
Morning after breakfast day to explore Gulmarg, visiting Gondola (cable car). Horse ridding and snow sledge or playing golf at self. Evening drive back to Srinagar, transfer to House-Boat / Hotel.
Day 6
SRINAGAR - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast leave for Shankaracharya Temple / Takht-e-Suleiman about 1000fts from Srinagar for panaromic view of the valley and then visit famous Mughal gardens of Cheshmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise. Late afternoon Shikara tour of the Lake.
Day 7SRINAGAR- KARGIL
Morning after breakfast drive from Srinagar to Kargil (235 kms). Via Sonamarg, Zojila pass, Drass (Second Coldest palace in the world) and view Tolo ling where Indian army sacrifices during kargil war.On arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 8KARGIL- LEH
Morning after breakfast drive to leh via Photala pass, Lamayuru, Moonland view and Khardongla pass the hightest motorable road, magnetic hills and reach Leh and check in hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9LEH- LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Full day Tour of “Shankar”(A relatively modern Monastery,it is closely associated with the Spituk Monastery and serves as the residence of the head priest ).Enroute visit Hemis and Thiskey Monastery and Shey Palace. Arrive Leh by evening overnight Hotel.
Day 10
LEH- NUBRA VALLEY
After breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardongla (Hightest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 fts) Arrival Deskit by afternoon. Rest of the day free to explore Deskit, Hunder villages and camel safari in sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder villages overnight stay.
Day 11NUBRA VALLEY-LEH
After breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same route, crossing Khardongla pass. Overnight Hotel.
Day 12LEH- PANGONG LAKE- LEH
After early breakfast leave for pangong lake (14,500 fts), through changla pass (17,350 fts) third hightest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong hightest salt water lake in the world, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy beauty of lake on banks of the lake while appreciating the changing colours of fascinating high attitude lake. Drive back to leh by same route. Overnight Hotel.
Day 13LEH- DEPARTURE
Early morning depart to leh airpot for onward destination.
